The Halifax Gates

Commissioned by Winchester College, Hampshire and Architect Martin Caroe of Caroe & Partners
Design award winner made in mild steel, these 4.5 metre double leaved gates have an integral pedestrian gate. Known also as The Bursar’s Gates the design is based on the abacus.
