Soaraway
Interior bronze sculpture commissioned by private clients as a gift for their son. It depicts the burgeoning aspirations and developing potential of a teenager as he moves forward into adulthood.
The emerging abstract plant like form is forged and textured and suggests growth, strength and a unique future.
Designed for a specific window site in the home, the rich tones of the bronze surface change as daylight progresses to interior lighting sources and the shadows and highlights shift.
