Created for a private client with a top floor apartment on the Paseo de Gracia, Barcelona.
This mild steel forged balustrade was made at Wheely Down Forge, transported to Barcelona then installed by our team.
The design is influenced by Gaudi and created for a top floor apartment overlooking Gaudi’s Casa Milà in Barcelona.
The original name of the house was Casa Milà, however the building is better known for its name La Pedrera (The Quarry) that refers to the uneven gray stone facade, which ripples around the corner of Carrer de Provença.
Our project, which included the design and installation of a bronze and glass front door, has been a favourite with our team. We went to Barcelona on a number of occasions to template and install the work and we all loved this vibrant city.
